The top layer is a non-woven fabric that is clean and dry, providing a comfortable skin contact. The non-woven fabric is sealed on all sides to prevent leakage. The pad is made of high quality non-woven fabrics and has a cotton fabric feeling and softness. The construction of the pad is a non-polymer construction, which allows it to maintain patient comfort while absorbing fluid quickly. The pad has a spunbond non-woven top sheet that allows fluid to pass through quickly into the fluff core. The diamond-embossed pattern on the pad provides stability and utilization. The pad is made of a strong waterproof polyethylene backsheet that protects against leakage. Finally, a super absorbent polymer is added to increase the absorbency of the pad.
